Kano State governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor described the festival as a time for gratitude, reflection and renewed commitment to the values of faith, unity and compassion.

He urged residents to celebrate the Sallah peacefully and avoid any actions that could disrupt public order, stressing the need to maintain peace and stability across the state.

The governor also called on the people to uphold the spirit of tolerance, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence, regardless of differences.

He advised parents and guardians to guide their children to be law-abiding and conduct themselves responsibly during the celebrations.
