NAWOJ Congratulates Kano Correspondent Chapel on Office Refurbished

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Kano State Chapter, has congratulated the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano Correspondents’ Chapel, on the successful refurbishment and commissioning of its office complex.

In a statement signed by the Assistant Secretary, Comrade Aisha Yanleman, and electronically endorsed by the Chairperson, Sayyida Bahijja Malam Kabara, NAWOJ commended the leadership of the Chapel under Comrade Murtala Adewale for the achievement.

The association noted that the colourful commissioning ceremony was attended by veteran journalists and distinguished personalities, including veteran journalist Comrade Muhammad Garba, Professor Sule Ya’u Sule and Hajiya Aishatu Sule, among others.

NAWOJ Kano praised the leadership and members of the Chapel for the initiative, describing it as a significant milestone that would contribute to a better working environment for journalists.

The association wished the Chapel continued success, progress and greater accomplishments in its service to journalism and the media profession.
