The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the release of the final list of successful candidates for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II).
The Service urged applicants to verify their status through its official website and selected national newspapers, while successful candidates are expected to begin the next phase of the recruitment process by submitting required documents within the stipulated period.
According to a statement issued on Monday by the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Aliyu Maiwada, successful applicants will receive further instructions via their registered email addresses and SMS notifications.
The statement explained that candidates are expected to log into the recruitment portal using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
It noted that the portal for uploading the medical certificates would become active on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and candidates would have one week to complete the process.
The Service also directed successful applicants to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offer of appointment before awaiting the issuance of their Trainee Identification Number.
Further information on documentation requirements, physical screening, dates and venues will be communicated through official channels.
The Nigeria Customs Service warned that failure to comply with any of the outlined requirements or timelines could lead to disqualification and the withdrawal of the provisional offer.
Congratulating the successful candidates, the Comptroller-General of Customs, through the statement, encouraged them to prepare for careers built on professionalism and national service.
“Successful candidates are required to log on to update.customs.gov.ng using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital,” the statement said.
“The Comptroller-General of Customs congratulates all successful candidates on their success in the recruitment exercise and looks forward to welcoming them into the Nigeria Customs Service as they commence a career dedicated to professionalism, integrity and service to the nation,” the statement added.
