The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has confirmed that its students who were stranded in China after completing a one-year academic exchange programme have begun their return journey to Nigeria following efforts made by the institution to resolve the situation.

According to the university, the intervention facilitated the students’ departure and ensured arrangements were made for their safe return home after the completion of their academic activities abroad.
