The Director-General of Voice of Nigeria Mallam Jibril Ndace, has participated as Special Guest of Honour at the 2nd Reputation Roundtable organised by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (FCT Chapter), held from 24 to 25 February 2026.
Speaking at the event, the DG delivered a goodwill message centred on the theme, “The New Architecture of Corporate Integrity: Navigating Power, Perception and Purpose,” describing it as highly relevant in a period when public perception spreads rapidly and organisational reputation has become a critical strategic asset rather than a secondary concern.

Mallam Jibril, noted that the discussions at the roundtable align with the Renewed Hope Agenda and the priorities of the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation under the leadership of the Minister, Mohammed Idris, particularly the objective of rebuilding public trust through transparent, timely, and proactive communication.

According to him, experiences at Voice of Nigeria demonstrate how influence, perception, and institutional purpose intersect on the international stage, adding that countries are judged not only by their capabilities but also by the credibility of their narratives and the integrity of their institutions.k

He encouraged communication professionals, spokespersons, media executives, and reputation managers to recognise their role as custodians of institutional trust, stressing that the current environment requires professionalism and excellence.
The DG also commended the NIPR FCT Chapter for maintaining a platform that promotes dialogue on reputation management and expressed optimism that the roundtable would deliver meaningful outcomes for participants and the communication industry.
