President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf on his 63rd birthday, praising his integrity, humility, and transformative leadership.

In a statement, the President highlighted Yusuf’s ambitious infrastructure projects, including bridges and roads across all local governments, and his bold education reforms that have improved NECO results.

Elected in 2023 on the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) platform, Yusuf previously served as Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport from 2011 to 2015. Tinubu said his experience has helped him reshape Kano, empowering the talakawa and driving progressive governance.

The President wished him long life and continued success in advancing the state’s development.

Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), signed the message.
